Your First Visit to Our Bedford Practice
To ensure your first visit with us is a pleasant one, below are the procedures you can expect during your 40 minute appointment:
PAPERWORK
We will ask you to complete a health questionnaire and provide health insurance information. Dr. Edwards will use the information you provide to help formulate recommendations for your care.
EDUCATION
To acquaint you with our office and explain how we can help you regain health, we will show you a short, 9-minute video.
CONSULTATION
Dr. Edwards will meet with you to review your health history and determine if yours is a chiropractic case. You will be advised of our office procedures and receive a copy of our financial procedures.
EXAMINATION
Dr. Edwards will perform standard physical, orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic tests to determine the cause(s) of your problem.
X-RAYS
Necessary x-rays may be taken to visualize the location of any spinal problems, reveal any pathologies, and make your chiropractic care more precise.
ADJUNCTIVEPROCEDURES
Dr. Edwards may suggest the application of ice, heat, or the use of some other procedures to help reduce inflammation and make you more comfortable. At this point your first visit will be complete.
CORRELATION
After your departure, Dr. Edwards will review his findings and formulate his recommendations for care.
